turns out, landscaping
needs a content
strategy too.*
*grass grows. brands should too.
make the brand
show up like
one brand.
I worked with Color Burst Landscapes for a little over a year, helping turn an existing social presence into something more intentional.
The work started with strategy: looking at what they were already posting, figuring out what was worth keeping and building a more cohesive approach across Instagram and LinkedIn.
From there, I moved between planning and making — developing content calendars, writing copy, working with photo and video, and creating campaign ideas around the business, its people and its events.
strategy
Built a more unified plan for how the brand showed up across social.
copy
Wrote recurring social content around services, people, projects and seasonal moments.
creative
Paired messaging with photography, video and branded visual assets.
campaigns
Developed promotional content around moments like the Spring Open House.
Freelance Work
I collaborated with Color Burst Landscapes for a little over a year (Feb. 2023-June 2024) to develop and implement a cohesive social media strategy.
My role involved updating existing content and creating a unified plan to enhance brand presence and engagement on Instagram and LinkedIn.
consistency ≠ sameness
A cohesive brand doesn't need to make every post look identical. It needs enough recognizable patterns that everything still feels connected.
the calendar is the strategy
Planning ahead made it easier to balance evergreen messaging, seasonal content, company culture and timely campaigns.
real people help
The strongest content wasn't always the most designed. Showing the actual people and work behind the company gave the brand something graphics alone couldn't.
sometimes brand strategy is less about inventing a personality and more about finding the one that's already there.
