then i got really interested in everything around the words.

I joined Asurion as a content writer, which meant I spent a lot of time thinking about words. Eventually, I started thinking just as much about where those words lived. How people found them, how they moved through a page, what made something easy to use and what made it unnecessarily complicated.

Somewhere in there, writing turned into content design, knowledge systems, visual design, process building and a lot of “wait, why do we do it this way?”
